Could you virtually present a ten minute paper on one of the following themes for Grave Matters?

All sessions run virtually from 6pm to 7pm GMT and include three presentations of ten minutes each. The themes are:
Hauntings:
We would welcome papers on the themes of, by no means limited to, any aspect of ‘hauntings’. This could include papers on:
- Ghosts, poltergeists and other supernatural activity
- Spiritualism, seances or any means of contacting the dead
- Haunted houses
- The haunted mind
- Hauntings in art, film, photography or theatre
- Literary hauntings
Conceptions of the Afterlife:
We would welcome papers on the themes of, but not limited to, any aspect of conceptions of the afterlife. This could include topics such as:
- Representations of Heaven, Paradise or the beatific vision
- Representations of Hell, Purgatory or infernal regions
- Representations of Limbo or in-between places
- Celestial/demoniac beings
- Representations of soul travel or Near Death Experiences
- Literary and/or artistic conceptions of the afterlife
Ceremonies of Death:
We are looking for presenters to talk about any aspect relating to the ceremonies of death.
This could include topics such as:
- last rites, funerals, cremation
- wakes, mourning rituals, laying out the dead,
- burial, prayers for the dead
- Ars moriendi or a ‘good death’ rituals
